Hi everyone! Below you can see some of my favorite photos
from this assignment as well as read a little about where I took them or got
the idea from. Before we get into that, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5
smartphone with an Android 4.4.2 TouchWiz UI operating System. I did not
use an app for any of my pictures for this assignment because I wanted to show
the true colors and I did not want to take away from them at all.
This picture was inspired by the pure color. I wanted to
display a picture that only has one color and was solid throughout the whole
shot. I really like the way this turned out. At first I was trying to take it
from far away, but I realized I liked the textures that came through from up
close. I also wanted to play around with shallow DOP because I love the way
that looks and I think this picture displays that very well!

This picture is also another favorite of mine. I know it
could be considered a cliché, but I did not care because I really loved the way
this turned out! Like I mentioned I did not edit this picture at all with an
app, just the way the lighting was made the shot turn out the way it did. I
love the way the trees at the bottom came out like a silhouette and the clouds
have a strange shadow in the middle of them. I am not sure how this picture
came out the way it did but I think it is really neat!
This next picture was chosen as the POW from everyone. I am
so glad I took this picture because I had a really great time that night and
now I have pictures to remember it. This picture was taken at a festival that
my town has every year for the starting of Fall. This year in particular I
could not make the festival, but I did manage to get to the ending fireworks.
My boyfriend had a great time eating out popcorn and watching the firework
show. This picture was pretty difficult to capture since fireworks are
constantly moving, but after about 20 pictures I finally captured the perfect
one!
